Pre-Start Safety & Operational Checklist
Visual Inspection
Check for signs of damage such as cracks on the compression chamber
Inspect for loose bolts on the frame
Look for worn parts like feeding rollers
Ensure all covers and guards are properly installed and secured
Remove any debris, tools, or obstacles around the machine
Hydraulic System
Check hydraulic oil level using the machine's built-in gauge
Examine oil for signs of contamination (discoloration or sediment)
Inspect hydraulic hoses and connections for leaks, cracks, or loose fittings
Ensure hydraulic pressure gauge is in good condition
Feeding & Compression Components
Check feeding hopper and conveyor for blockages
Inspect compression mold for wear, cracks, or deformation
Ensure mold is properly aligned with the compression piston
Safety & Control Systems
Test emergency stop button functionality
Verify all control switches are responsive
Ensure switches are in correct "off" position before startup
Check lubrication system is filled and functioning properly
