1. Pre‑Operation Safety & Inspection
- Wear appropriate PPE: safety glasses, gloves, and steel‑toed boots.
- Inspect hydraulic system for oil leaks and ensure all fasteners are secure.
- Verify safety guards and emergency stop buttons are fully functional.
- Sort raw metal scrap to remove hard impurities (stones, iron blocks).
2. System Warm‑Up & Idle Testing
- Never start under heavy load – run the machine idle for several minutes.
- Monitor hydraulic oil temperature and listen for abnormal noises or vibrations.
- Transition to automatic mode only after oil reaches optimal temperature and pressure stabilizes.
3. Standardized Feeding & Pressing
- Ensure steady, uniform supply of scrap into the hopper – avoid overfilling.
- Keep compression chamber door securely closed during pressing.
- Never extend any body part into moving parts or pressing zone while active.
4. Routine Monitoring & Shutdown
- Remain at control station to monitor pressure, temperature, and briquette ejection.
- If abnormal pressure or jams occur, activate emergency stop immediately.
- At shift end, stop feeding, process remaining scrap, then cut main power.
- Clean work area and hopper of residual metal debris.
