How to solve the uneven pressing density of Briquetting Press

2025-05-09 Leave a message
The problem of uneven pressing density in the production process of Briquetting Press will seriously affect the quality and performance of the product.
1. Mold problem
It is a common factor leading to uneven pressing density. If there is wear, scratches or deformation on the inner wall of the mold, the material will be unevenly stressed during pressing. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check the wear of the mold, replace the mold with severe wear in time, and ensure that it is accurately positioned and firmly fixed when installing the mold to avoid displacement during the pressing process. In addition, polishing the mold surface to reduce the friction between the material and the mold can also help improve the phenomenon of uneven density.
2. Differences in material properties
If the particle size, humidity, uniformity and other factors of the material do not meet the requirements, it is easy to cause inconsistent pressing density. Before production, the materials need to be strictly screened and pre-treated to ensure that the material particle size is uniform and the humidity is appropriate. For example, for materials with high humidity, the moisture content can be reduced by drying; for materials with larger particle size, crushing and refining are carried out to meet the pressing requirements. At the same time, ensure that the materials are mixed evenly before entering the briquetting machine to avoid excessive differences in local material properties.
3. Improper setting of equipment operation parameters
Uneven pressure distribution, unstable pressing speed, insufficient holding time, etc. will affect the pressing effect. By installing high-precision pressure sensors, real-time monitoring of pressure distribution, and using automatic control systems, accurately adjust pressure, speed and holding time according to material characteristics and pressing requirements. For example, appropriately increase the pressing speed at the beginning of pressing, reduce the speed and extend the holding time near the forming stage to ensure that the material is fully compacted.
4. Equipment maintenance

Regularly check the hydraulic system to prevent pressure leakage or pressure fluctuations; lubricate and tighten the transmission parts to ensure smooth operation of the equipment. Only by taking comprehensive measures from multiple aspects such as molds, materials, equipment parameters and maintenance can the problem of uneven pressing density of Briquetting Press be effectively solved and product quality be improved.
