Proper installation is key to ensuring safe and efficient operation of your scrap briquetting machine
Site Preparation
Choose a flat, stable surface that can support the machine's weight. Clear the area of debris and ensure there is enough space around the machine for operator movement, maintenance access, and the handling of materials.
Check that the site has access to the required power supply and, if applicable, hydraulic connections.
Unloading & Positioning
Unload the machine carefully using appropriate lifting equipment. Avoid dragging or tilting the machine excessively, as this can damage internal components or alter alignment.
Once positioned on the prepared surface, secure the machine to prevent shifting during operation using sturdy fasteners that match the machine's base design.
Utility Connections
For electrical connections, follow the manufacturer's guidelines and ensure compliance with local safety standards.
If the machine uses a hydraulic system, attach hydraulic hoses to the correct ports, checking for leaks and ensuring hoses are not kinked or strained. Use the recommended hydraulic fluid.
Component Inspection
Inspect all components to confirm they are properly installed. Check that moving parts, such as conveyors or compression plungers, have no obstructions and can move freely.
Verify that safety features, including emergency stops and guards, are in place and functional.
