Tire Baler Maintenance Guide
Essential steps to preserve performance, extend lifespan, and prevent unexpected breakdowns
Post-Operation Checks
- Clear residual rubber scraps and loose debris from feeding chamber, compression area, and binding mechanism
- Inspect external structure for signs of damage (dents, loose bolts, cracked panels)
- Address identified issues promptly to prevent further deterioration
Hydraulic System Maintenance
- Regularly check hydraulic oil level and condition
- Replace cloudy or contaminated oil immediately
- Repair leaks around hoses, connectors, or pistons promptly
- Inspect piston and sealing rings for wear and replace as needed
Note: Hydraulic leaks reduce pressure (weakening compression) and risk damaging components.
Lubrication of Moving Parts
- Apply appropriate lubricants to bearings, chains, and hinges
- Use manufacturer-recommended lubricants only
- Avoid over-lubrication to prevent dust and debris buildup
Safety Components Check
- Test interlock systems on feeding chamber doors
- Verify emergency stop buttons function properly
- Ensure all safety devices are reliable and operational
Cooling System Maintenance
- Keep cooling components (radiators) clean and free of debris
- Ensure proper heat dissipation to prevent overheating
- Regularly inspect for dust buildup that could restrict airflow
