Tire Baler Hydraulic Oil Replacement Guide
Proper maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends equipment lifespan
1. Conventional Operation Scenario
- Recommended replacement: Every 1500-2000 hours or annually (whichever comes first)
- Normal conditions: Indoor operation, average 8 hours/day, moderate temperature, low dust
- New equipment: Replace oil after initial 500-800 hour break-in period
- Initial replacement removes metal debris and processing oil residues
2. Special Working Conditions
- High temperature environments (>40°C): Replace every 1000-1500 hours
- High-load continuous operation: Follow shortened replacement intervals
- Outdoor/dusty conditions: Replace every 800-1200 hours
- Monthly filter checks recommended in harsh environments
⚠️ Important: In humid environments, water contamination can cause oil emulsification - inspect frequently and replace immediately if detected.
3. Oil Condition Monitoring
- Visual inspection: Normal oil is transparent light yellow
- Replace immediately if oil appears black, cloudy, or emulsified
-
Professional testing thresholds:
- Acid value > 2.0mgKOH/g
- Particle level > NAS Class 8
4. Replacement Precautions
- Completely drain old oil and clean system with specialized cleaners
- Use only specified oil grade (e.g., ISO VG 46/68 anti-wear hydraulic oil)
- Never mix different brands or grades of hydraulic oil
-
After replacement:
- Run equipment 15-30 minutes without load
- Bleed air from system
- Recheck oil level and quality
Note: Always consult your equipment manual for manufacturer-specific recommendations. These guidelines supplement but don't replace OEM specifications.
